Life at El Caballo Lifestyle Village
El Caballo Lifestyle Village has a unique “own the home, lease the land” concept. By this means, residents purchase their homes – usually using the equity in their existing homes or funds from superannuation, depending on their circumstances.
Residents pay a Weekly Fee – essentially working out to a lease of the land that your new home is situated on. The Weekly Fee allows you to enjoy the shared facilities in the village, and includes:
- • Shire and water rates
- • Rubbish collection
- • Security
- • Village management
- • Maintenance of roads, signage, street lights and common landscaping (including the front garden of your home)
- • Use and maintenance of all community buildings and resort-style facilities
Like any retirement village or gated community, El Caballo has certain rules and governing bodies to ensure the safe and smooth running of the village. For more information about the terms and rules of life at El Caballo Lifestyle Village, check out our FAQs.
